I’ll be road tripping back to one of my favorite areas soon; where Highway 1 forks around Tomales Bay, California. When I went to school last winter, I interviewed my favorite photographer David Malosh who shoots covers for Food & Wine Magazine and more importantly did the book ‘The Essential Oyster’. This was definitely an influential work, capturing a comprehensive-chilled taste on the salty terroir of an oyster.

Northern California’s cool° coastal landscapes are some of the most amazing I’ve seen 🕶️. It’s a place where oyster farms and dairy ranches intersect on the kelp highway. I’m looking ahead to setting my watch (phone) to the tide table. The spot where Point Reyes fades into the sea is dreamy to say the least. I guess here in the southwest it would compare to taking a desert walk in the rain. 👣🌧️🏜️🐚🍋☀️
