Epic conditions don’t even begin to describe this night! Finding pools of water in Death Valley, which has 2.36” of annual rainfall is rare enough. Adding in massive salt veins under perfectly clear skies except for the small patch of clouds on the horizon which flashed lightning all night made this a once in a lifetime visit to one of my favorite parks!

Special thanks to @stanmoniz for inviting @krl_photo and me out to witness this magical moment!
