This is a dive I remember well. A howling current so strong that the guides led us tucked in very tight against the reef straight into it. If we had swum out into the water column we would have been swept away in a split instant. We could only go so far however before the water became too powerful. These fusiliers were swimming straight into the current making it look easy, they would then get to the other side of the pinnacle, turn and drift back, feeding on the plankton as they went. They continued doing this in a cycle again and again. Slow shutter time exposure with flash – Komodo.
